November 2023 Improving Lives Workshop

On 29th November, Bridging Change and NHS Sussex held a workshop at BMECP Centre to hear how local NHS services are working with ethnic minority communities to improve access and health outcomes and to find out what the community thinks about how NHS Sussex can improve access to Primary Care (including GP and dentistry), Mental Health and Wellbeing Services and Maternity Services.

Brighton and Hove becoming and anti-racist city

The council has pledged to be an anti-racist council. Brighton and Hove City Council has said that they will work in partnership with Black and Minority Ethnic people including council staff, residents and community groups to directly shape our anti-racism strategy through their lived experiences and diverse perspectives.
